George Mason University

City of Fairfax Band
The City of Fairfax Band is an all volunteer ensemble that consists of over 120 musicians from throughout the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and has been entertaining audiences since 1969. www.fairfaxband.org

Fairfax Art League
Fairfax Art League was established 1986 in Fairfax, Virginia and has continued growing and promoting art in the community ever since. The mission of Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts, Inc. is to enhance the awareness of the cultural opportunities in the Fairfax—George Mason University (GMU)—Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) area, to encourage new and emerging arts groups in the greater Fairfax area and to provide scholarship opportunities for well qualified students to attend arts-related courses at GMU and NVCC.
